The Earth River SUP DUAL 12-6 GT is a touring inflatable paddle board shaped to cover the most distance with the least effort — and to stay fun on the days you're not counting miles. A full 32" of width makes it fast without feeling tippy, and it rolls up to fit in a car trunk.

Who Is The DUAL 12-6 GT For?

The GT is for paddlers who cover water: lake, coastal, and waterway exploration, overnight expeditions, racing on choppy water, and long fitness paddles. It's also for the paddlers who've held off on a touring board because a 12'6" hard board is a storage problem — this one packs into a backpack and stores in a closet.

It isn't only a touring board, though. The same board that eats distance can do attainment runs on a river, push through the wave break to explore deep-water coastline, or carry kids, pets, and cargo on a casual weekend paddle.

12'6" | 32" wide | 6" thick | 28 lb board weight | Riders up to 290 lb

Why Riders Choose The 12'6" GT

Distance with the least effort. The 12'6" waterline is what makes touring boards fast, and the GT's shape is meticulously tuned to balance that speed with stability. ERS builds it a full 32" wide — wider than is typical for the class — so the speed comes without the tippy, race-board feel that keeps many paddlers off touring boards.

Room for passengers, cargo, and overnight gear. Six inches of thickness give the GT the volume for overnight expedition loads, and the bungee cargo areas and high-grade stainless steel D-rings at nose, tail, and forward deck secure dry bags and gear. Kids and pets ride comfortably on the long deck.

A touring board that stores like a duffel bag. Rolled up, the GT fits in a car trunk, a closet, or the included rolling backpack — no roof rack, no garage wall needed.

Built For Years Of Real Use

The GT runs ERS X9 Dual Core construction with additional reinforcement layers in the areas that take the most wear, plus the Enhanced Dynamic Rail to keep a board this long stiff at pressure. The GEN-3 Gecko Grip deck pad is comfortable for all-day paddling and holds your stance in chop, and every board is covered by a 24-month warranty.

The Fin System

The LAKE RIVER COAST™ (LRC) Fin System includes four US center fins (9", 8", 4.5", and 3") and two sets of side click fins (4.5" and 1"), all packed in a padded ERS fin and accessories bag. Run the 9" center alone for maximum glide and tracking on open water, add side fins for control in chop, or drop to the short fins for shallow rivers and attainment runs. The center fin box accepts any US Fin Box-compatible fin plus FCS Connect™ tool-less center fins.

Safety note for whitewater use

A standard ankle leash is not recommended for whitewater paddling. Use a quick-release leash, wear a helmet, and wear an inherently buoyant life jacket — all are important safety equipment in moving river water.

Inflation

The ERS 12VDC 20PSI Electrical Pump inflates this board to 15PSI in approximately 13 minutes. The included double-action manual pump inflates on both the downstroke and upstroke, cutting inflation time and effort roughly in half.

How The GT Fits The ERS Lineup

The GT is the touring shape of the DUAL series: same X9 Dual Core construction and LRC fin pack as the 9-6 and 10-7, stretched to a 12'6" waterline for distance. Paddlers whose sessions are mostly exploration, expeditions, and covering water choose the GT; paddlers who split their time evenly across surf, rivers, and flat water usually land on the 10-7 or the X3.

What's Included

Every 12'6" GT ships with a deluxe rolling backpack, a high-pressure double-action pump, the padded fin and accessories bag with all included fins, and a 24-month warranty.

FAQ

Who is the DUAL 12-6 GT the right board for?
Paddlers who cover distance: lake, coastal, and waterway exploration, overnight expeditions, racing on choppy water, and long fitness paddles. Its 32" width also keeps it friendly for casual paddling with passengers and cargo, so it isn't limited to touring days.
Is a 12'6" touring board hard to balance on?
The GT is built to avoid exactly that. At a full 32" wide — wider than is typical for the 12'6" class — it delivers touring speed without the tippy, race-board feel. Paddlers stepping up from an all-around board find it stable from the first session.
How much weight can the GT carry?
The GT supports riders up to 290 lb, and at 12'6" x 32" x 6" it has the volume for expedition loads, passengers, and cargo. Call 877-777-1769 if you want a fit check for your combined rider-and-gear weight.
Can I store and travel with a 12'6" board?
Yes — that's the point of the inflatable GT. It rolls up to fit in a car trunk or the included deluxe rolling backpack, and stores in a closet between seasons. The length that would be a storage problem as a hard board isn't one here.
What's in the fin pack?
The GT ships with the full LAKE RIVER COAST™ (LRC) Fin System: four US center fins (9", 8", 4.5", and 3") plus two sets of side click fins (4.5" and 1"), packed in a padded ERS fin and accessories bag. The center fin box also accepts any US Fin Box-compatible fin and FCS Connect™ tool-less center fins.
Is the GT only for flat water?
No. It can do attainment runs on rivers, push through the wave break to explore deep-water coastline, and race on choppy water. It's a touring board that isn't limited to touring — though paddlers who split their time evenly across surf, rivers, and flat water usually land on the DUAL 10-7 or 10-0 X3 instead.
How long does it take to inflate?
The ERS 12VDC 20PSI Electrical Pump takes the GT to 15PSI in approximately 13 minutes. The included double-action manual pump inflates on both the downstroke and upstroke, cutting manual inflation time roughly in half.
What's included with the DUAL 12-6 GT?
A deluxe rolling backpack, a high-pressure double-action pump, the padded ERS fin and accessories bag with all four center fins and both sets of side fins, and a 24-month warranty.
